Scam- be aware!

Scam- be aware! It is an awful organisation. I reported my accident claim on the day of my accident (23/11/2024); I have not heard from this organisation since, and now I have found out they did not even log it !!!!!! They provide their customers with a telephone number; however, if you call it, you CAN NOT get to speak to anyone; you are directed to "live chat". The "live chat" is absolutely useless; no one has the courtesy to answer the chat at a good time, and if you start a conversation, you speak to a computer!!!!!. What is the point, Marshmallow?! I have been trying to cancel my policy and get the refund payment for December 2024 because I haven't had my car since the end of November (accident). I do not believe you are a genuine insurance company, but more like a scam. RIDICISOLOUS! Reviewed on: 6th December 2024

I have had my insurance with Marshmallow for over a year. They assisted me with my South African license and kept me updated through the year. I just received my UK license and using the online chat feature we were able to update my documents and information with in a few minutes. They are all so helpful and friendly and assist with all information I need. Would highly recommend Marshmallow!! Reviewed on: 10th October 2022

Fast and efficient

My payment was failed the night before renewal, and I am afraid that the offer is expired. I contacted the customer service (thanks Randall!) in the morning and he reinstated my insurance in next hour! Awesome service and very efficient reply. Dreadful

I would like to give zero star if possible. Customer service is non existent. Everything is online and when you get in contct nobody ever replies. You are waiting for being connected to a robot, then waiting to be connected to a person. The person sends automatic response and you are again waiting half hour for them to reply. It is shocking!!! Untrusted company

A few days ago, where I was assured the arrangement with Premfina (the company Marshmallow engaged for my finance) will be terminated. I was quite settled only to be followed with an email stating that I my outstanding amount is 1011/-. My policy was in place for only over a month (Started mid August 2022). Payment of 102 pounds taken towards first installment in August itself. Mid September I decided to end the policy to be on the 7th October 2020. In total, I should be having a outstanding amount for the period of mid September to 7th October 2022. How can my outstanding be 1011 plus? My total insurance cost was 1240/- odd ( including charges and interest) for a year. Which opted to pay in twelve monthly installments of 102 odd pounds. This is real frustrating and intimidating as the email further states that if I fail to do the payment and as they have my bank details, marshmallow will keep charging and recharging my account until they get their money which they think I owe them. How can one trust such a company? And I am shocked such things can happen in the UK. A company without a contact number? Reviewed on: 3rd October 2022

Had an issue where i was unable to drive for 6 months due to a first seizure, marshmallow were helpful right from the start by assuring me my car would still be insured etc etc and when it came to driving again after the six months was up they were were super helpful in getting me back and making sure all documents and everything was up to date.
