So much for free

Great bank for my small business. Received a free account and free access to their accounting software. Both of which offer great customer service and helpful advice for my new small bushiness. Couldn't be more positive about my experience Reviewed on: 31st March 2025

Everything's great except impact of suspending account

Everything has been great apart from the time Mettle suspended my account without informing me when I applied for a savings pot. This meant invoices my business was due to pay didn't get paid and money I was due wasn't received. The knock on impact of this was that all payments to my account were then stopped by a private medical insurer which took months to sort out and rectify taking my time and meaning I wasn't paid for work. A Sole traders dream

Has been simple to set up and use, its been the perfect solution for my small business, defiantly a great banking app for sole traders - both my wife and myself have mettle accounts - we both really love the pots feature as well which makes putting money aside from deposits really easy and fully automated.
