Good business account.

Good business account. Effective with good software and a useful Freeagent tie in. Not suitable for payments outside of UK but works well for my UK business. Reviewed on: 20th April 2026

As a sole trader Mettle makes banking simple

As a sole trader Mettle is intuitive to use and has made me savings by not applying bank charges on transactions. Which helps running a small independent business. I enjoy having the ability to have the 'Pots' to transfer money around the account for different things and separating the tax pot from every income transaction set up with a simple rule. Have highly recommended to my clients who are sole traders too. Reviewed on: 20th April 2026

Reliable free banking for my business

Mettle provides free banking for my small business that also includes Freeagent accounting software. It's also good to have a savings pot that links to the main account - the interest rate could be a little higher on the savings, but at least it is easy to move money back and forth as required.
