Perfect for Sole Trader Banking

I’ve been using Mettle for a while now, and it truly is a brilliant service. The standout feature for me is the seamless, free access to FreeAgent. Having my banking and accounting software synced perfectly saves me hours of manual data entry every month. The app is intuitive, the setup was painless, and the fact that FreeAgent is included for free makes it an unbeatable value proposition for small businesses. Came to you because santander decided to charge me even though when i went with them 20 years ago, they said id have free banking for life. But that changed last October when they started charging me. Reviewed on: 23rd February 2026

Perfect bank account for setting up my small business

I set up a Mettle business account when first setting up my own business in 2025. I shopped around to compare lots of different bank accounts to see what would suit me best and Mettle seemed to tick all the boxes. I cannot fault the service in any way; it was so easy to set up, has access to great additional tools such as Freeagent and it has worked perfectly in supporting my new venture as self employed. I have only rated customer service as I have not needed to use this service as of yet. Reviewed on: 23rd February 2026
