Awful experience and customer service

I have used Nationwide for years having a premium current account (with the £13/month fee), savings accounts and credit card. I have recently had cause to request a chargeback for a transaction on my credit card however Nationwide have refused to do the chargeback even though the money was taken against the contract I had with the company. I chose to have a credit card with Nationwide as the benefits were second to none. The process to apply for the credit card was quick and easy and staff were helpful when I had questions. Travelling in Europe

I use my Nationwide credit card when travelling in Europe as there is no charge for using it to buy goods or services, unlike with the other credit card I use. It also means the cost of what I bought abroad is separated from my normal expenditure. Reviewed on: 2nd April 2025
