Unwanted account still open since 2023

Requested my application be cancelled due to ridiculous questions being asked during application process - not only did they proceed to open the account anyway, I've now been trying since 2023 to get the account closed down to no avail. Customer services are rude and unhelpful, there are so many better business banking options to choose from, use literally anyone else, there's no value to be had here. Reviewed on: 8th April 2025

I love the app, it is constantly being updated and new features being added! for this reason I love it so much.. It allows you to add other bank accounts aswell, I wish it added credit cards aswell but it is still very useful.. I find business banking in the app so easy to use, it is just a very easy app to use, I have been with natwest for ages and really like them. Reviewed on: 7th March 2025

Natwest bankline should be avoided by all businesses.

Natwest bankline should be avoided by all businesses. Any issue outside of its day to day working have no quick and easy way to resolve. I have been locked out for 5 days (for no reason), passed security over the phone to discuss the issue however the only resolution was waiting for the post to send me a new smart card and reader. This is very outdated way of operating and my business has been effectively closed for 5 days because of this terribly poor process. Reviewed on: 5th March 2025

Great self employed account - free accounting software

I started with NW as they were on my high street 5 years ago - they are not now (no one is) but the support for a simple self employed person has been excellent - free online accounts system is great and the simple format suits my business exactly. Yes I pay a small fee each month for activity but having simple access makes that worth the trouble, Unlike most they also do not bombard with e mails or selling stuff. Great business banking

Natwest Bankline - what a mess

We have been using Natwest Business Banking for over 30 years and recently needed a USD account. It was set up but I was told that I had to use Bankline to see it or use it. And that has a monthly fee! Eventually got it set up - what a performance. There are more PINs and passwords than you can shake a stick at and they are never going to be remembered since they have so many digits and rules. So you gotta write them down. Unsecure. Disgusting anti-Scottish sentiment policy

I tried to open a NatWest Business account via their online registration process. This was a long and tedious process, going around in circles trying to upload my ID and being refused on several occasions, eventually the same files were approved just because I cropped them a little ! I had to wait until the following day to find out by email that my application had been declined because my business trades within Scotland. Disinformation

Numerous phone calls to resolve an issue, given different information each time. Promised callbacks that never happened. Demand letters received from different departments, resulting in more calls and more disinformation. Made a complaint and they couldn’t trace recordings of my calls. Useless.
