Sales procedures a bit clunky, but processing good

I know banks have to jump through a lot of hoops these days, but it seems that NatWest do more of that than they have to on the sales front. That said the service was generally good. I did have a issue with their transfer procedures which I raised with the Ombudsman and I hope they will change their process as a result. Reviewed on: 12th January 2019

NatWest flexible and good value for money mortgages

NatWest has been providing my mortgage for about 6 years, including three renwals of 2-year mortgage products. They offer very good rates, with no fees (through L&C), high flexibility including up to 20% of the outstnding amount repayment. Also, they were flexibleenoughto reduce the mortgage term at no extra cost. Reviewed on: 25th March 2025

Got access to a better rate direct than through my broker. The manage my mortgage facility is really easy to use to set up overpayments and has all the information I need about my product. Love how it also integrates with my NatWest app. Reviewed on: 12th February 2025

Reference number: 84261762 I have not been able to access my online mortgage for 2.5 years because of their faulty IT platforms/systems. And of course their way of resolving this is to constantly waste my time 'pretending' to search for a solution. Constantly promising that this will be resolved so that I do not escalate the complaint! They honestly think that calling me up during working hours to 'chat' is helping me I just want to change to another provider but their exit fee... Reviewed on: 21st October 2024

I was lucky to secure a 1.99% interest rate for 5 years on my mortgage in 2021. I’m hoping that they’ll be able to offer a decent rate again when I renew. Ideally close to this but much lower than current offers! Reviewed on: 16th June 2024
