Fantastic and honest insurers

Each time I have spoken to customer services Polly, Kim and Connor, they have been excellent at explaining all of the processes and how to submit claims, even enquiring how my pet was after an operation. I have had some horrific experiences from pet insurance companies, well known ones at that and I can say that Perfectpet insurance are really going the extra mile with my claim at the moment. Low price and good cover

Low price and good cover is ideal- completing the application is quite time consuming though, it kept resetting and making me start again which wasn’t ideal but still happy to get insurance sorted Reviewed on: 1st November 2025

Happy with the price which will much more affordable than my previous insurance without compromising on things that are helpful like access to 24/7 vet advice. Very responsive customer service when I asked about amending the date of the direct debit. Reviewed on: 17th October 2025

Beware of out of hours vet fee caps!!!

I need to access out of hours vets with my dog, he had a non life threatening condition so they will only pay the first £35...because of this my claim was denied as that plus the medication meant it fell under the £90 excess. They don't use any discretion when making their decisions either, on the day my husband had been placed on life support and in an induced coma, I was managing that, two children and a sick dog...when I was at my absolute lowest point in life they have come along and kicked me. I was paying an insurance fee thinking I had the security blanket...it's just not the case...avoid at all costs, pay a bit more and opt for a more established company. Reviewed on: 17th October 2025
