Helps us to help more of our customers

Bringing the Policy in Practice team on board has really helped us to help our customers. We are only a small team and so it takes time to get through the referrals but having the calculator means we can refer the customers to use that during the busy times and our Housing Officers are able to use it when necessary also. We recommend use of the calculator during the sign up period to ensure the property will be affordable and again for every change affecting our customers during the life of their tenancy with us. Knowing Adam is available to discuss any issues we might have or possible adaptations is key for us. He checks in to make sure all is well and listens to feedback. Most informative Benefit Calculator and helpful staff

I use the benefit Calculator for my work advising people about their benefit entitlement and it works wonder at giving a breakdown of the award, while also then explaining additional entitlement they might be also entitled to based on their situation. Better Off Calculator

As part of my role at Maximus, I have gained hands-on experience using the Better Off Calculator to support customers in understanding the financial implications of moving into employment. This tool has been instrumental in helping individuals make informed decisions by providing clear comparisons between their current benefit entitlements and potential earnings from employment. I have used the calculator during one-to-one appointments to: Assess financial outcomes for customers considering job offers or changes in working hours. Demonstrate the impact of employment on benefits such as Universal Credit, Housing Benefit, and Council Tax Reduction. Support budgeting conversations by outlining net income projections and helping customers plan for transitions into work. This is a really useful tool

Really Amazing!

We use this at my place of work and it is incredibly helpful for showing people what they could be making. I have also used it myself to see what I could and couldn't claim.
