Policy In Practise Calculator is really easy and navigable for someone who is in their junior stages of learning and carrying out benefits checks. It helped me undertstand the classifications of every benefit and it's uptodate relevant hints of information from the DWP. Reviewed on: 14th April 2026

Great for benefit calculations

We use this in a large housing association and it is useful for day to day advice needs - update regularly and also respond well when there are issues or errors. It is useful for comparing scenarios and being able to print out scenarios for customers or email them a link to access the calculations. Reviewed on: 14th April 2026
