Such a useful and helpful tool.

Using the better off calculator with our participants has been a real God send. I've listed below just a few of the benefits I've found from using them in my job. - See your full true income – adds wages, remaining benefits, tax and costs like childcare, so you know exactly what you keep - No guesswork – cuts through complicated rules to give you simple, accurate numbers - Prove working pays – shows you keep more extra money than you might expect - Find extra support – highlights help you can still get while working, like Council Tax Reduction or childcare support - Plan with confidence – test different hours or pay to see what works best for you - Spot long-term gains – shows how work builds your pension and future earning power - No more worry – clear answers mean you know you won’t end up worse off. The A useful and beneficial tool

The better off calculator has been a great tool for providing our participants with knowledge that they would otherwise not be aware of. It is a clear and accurate demonstration of how they will be financially better of in full time work than claiming Universal Credits.
