£200 Switch offer complete joke

I made the switch and was expecting £200 to be in my account within 7 calendar days in accordance complaint RBS swith offer terms and conditions. I met all criterias and it is now well over 7 calendar days and nothing has come through. Called RBS customer service couple of times and was told, yes i have met all criterias and they don't understand why the £200 has not been paid. Then told my only way to reach out to the switch team was via the app CORA. 2 days on no reply from Cora. RBS were very fast for the switch over but now they don't want to know me or the £200 offer. If a business states 7 calendar days and they don't meet this promise, then does it matter if they take a day, week, month or a year? The 'within 7 calendar days' criteria hasn't been fulfilled by RBS. They failed. I've complained but no confirmation or acknowledgement of my complaint. I am regretting it now... So called 'CORA' is a complete joke. Communication overall very poor. Majority of staff not so friendly. Reviewed on: 9th August 2023

RBS provide multiple accounts for different needs. I have been banking with them since I was 15 at school and developed my accounts as I grew up. I have 5 different accounts that I can easily access and view on the app. They offer good interest rates on savings accounts, better deals on mortgages for customers and are easily available to chat on phone, online or in store. Very happy with RBS service.

Very happy with RBS service. Offered a customer health check a few years ago which helped get me the right accounts for me. Only negative is the closing of local branches but I am mostly a digital banker so I can see why they've had to do this. Reviewed on: 2nd April 2025

I'm not a customer of great wealth, in fact I do have an overdraft facility which I occasionally have the need to use, however my bank (who I've been with since the early 1980s) have always treated me respectfully and offered assistance when they felt I needed it and which at times I have accepted. They have looked after me personally when I had a local branch, and are now continuing to do so over the internet. My account fluctuates due to the fact my pension date changes, but they take this into consideration and always inform me when I am about to go into my overdraft. This account has suited my needs and RBS have always been fair and helpful and have always been there for me. I would, and have done many times, recommended RBS to friends and family. Needless to say I would never change banks; why should I when, as such a lowly customer, I receive such excellent service. Reviewed on: 27th February 2025
