We are a very small registered charity.

We are a very small registered charity. We found it really difficult to find any institution that would take us on board. When we contacted Saffron they were extremely helpful and welcoming.. Our account was up and running within two weeks and everyone was polite and there to answer any query we had. Reviewed on: 28th November 2024

Great customer service

I have recently opened a Members savings account. Communication is immediate and I have found opening the account relatively straightforward. I do not live near to Essex, so cannot visit a branch and rely on postal or telephone contact: I have always found this to be easy, and the advisors I have spoken to over the telephone to be readily available to help me and seek the best options to get the most out of my savings accounts. Need more staff...

One customer in front of me, at the counter when I entered. 30 minutes before I was finished..Only one person dealing with customers....supervised as only a new starter. Reviewed on: 28th October 2024

Unclear email instructions.

You sent me an email to say that my ISA was about to mature. I decided to act promptly and tried to give maturity instructions on line. Had problems logging in and phoned you, helpful lady got the problem resolved, but still no box for maturity instruction. Phoned again and was told that you can not give online instruction until 14 days before maturity, but this was not stated in the email. Then transferred and was (hopefully) able to give instruction on the phone. Needs a bit of a tidy up. Reviewed on: 28th October 2024
