Community account change

After receiving notice from a bank about charges to our community account, we searched around, until someone recommended Saffron. They had a business manager interested and helpful, in taking on our account (the bank has a phone centre in the north of the country, not interested in community accounts) He has been most helpful in guiding us through the change, and also in the old tradition (Plough Monday) we are maintaining. I understand while bigger institutions have less interest in smaller community accounts, the Saffron are looking to fill this gap Reviewed on: 15th October 2025

Money withdrawal problems.

Today, I, was chasing up my withdrawal yesterday, of £80. Spoke to your representative, Jodie Wilson. She was excellent. She looked into the matter, &, ascertained that the money, hadn’t been transferred, due to technical issues, &, undertook to keep me informed. This, she did, which was really pleasing. Kind, knowledgeable, &, well spoken. Really helped me, &, fully explained the situation. A pleasure to talk to. Full marks, very happy, with my treatment. Reviewed on: 14th October 2025

Sophia was fantastic. Not only did she resolve my immediate issue with making an electronic funds transfer but after initially thinking they would have to send me a letter to set up my online account, she called me back to explain she understood why she wasn't able to do this and we then resolved that issue and got the web/app access setup too. I really appreciated that she took the trouble to call me back having realized why she could trigger an email. It wasn't actually that crucial to me to be able to access online but taking the time to resolve the issue ahead of it being urgent and calling me back demonstrates a level of customer care far too rare these days.
