We are a very small registered charity.

We are a very small registered charity. We found it really difficult to find any institution that would take us on board. When we contacted Saffron they were extremely helpful and welcoming.. Our account was up and running within two weeks and everyone was polite and there to answer any query we had. Reviewed on: 28th November 2024

Staff response / call handling is A1

Staff response and call handling is the best I've seen - you empower your staff and they are confident, helpful and staightforward. Your hepline works well, with no appreciable delay in reaching a human. The only reason you are not 10/10 is that your system is ultra-secure to the point that it is very easy for infrequent users (like me) to get locked out. It's happened two or three times in the past 5 or 6 years, but I only check your account about twice a year - because you are useful for cash I won't need for a while. As I deliberately spread this kind of cash out between a parcel of providers you might even get more in future as my parcel is shrinking with the Tesco & Virgin amalgamations & i'll need to balance it out again once the dust settles. Great customer service.

I Had problems accessing my online account and phoned Saffron twice. Both agents (Freddie and Lauren) answered quickly and were helpful, polite and clear and the problem was easily resoved. She dealt with my enquiry sensitively and professionally and followed it with an email summarising information and with useful links. This enabled my visit to the Saffron Walden branch today straightforward as I could ensure I had all required documentation to hand.
