Excellent customer service but ...

Excellent customer service and decent website but low interest rates. Lack of monthly interest accounts. App is not really good and won't work on my phone even though it has the up to date software. Did ask about it but got nowhere. Also website not designed for smartphone and have to use it in desktop mode. Did ask but got nowhere. Reviewed on: 13th September 2024

Member’s regular savings account offers a higher monthly maximum than some others. The transfer of matured funds to my bank is always done promptly on the day of maturity and the procedure fo setting up the next year’s account is seamless. Reviewed on: 11th December 2024

Problem opening Members’ Month Loyalty Saver account

I attempted to open a Members’ Month Loyalty Saver accounts last June and there was a problem opening it. There was no message identifying a problem during the online process and hence I didn't know there was. Sadly Saffron were not proactive in contacting me. Once I had realised that there might have been a problem (no emails etc detailing the account opening) I contacted Saffron and the issue was resolved very quickly. Why didn't Saffron know that an application for a new account had been made by an existing customer and become 'stuck' in the system? My wife had exactly the same problem.
