Life changed and gaining control

Gone from massive financial worry and not knowing where to turn, to where I am now and have never been better. I was so worried about speaking to someone about what I felt was my failures but there was no judgement at all and only the kindest and most helpful people who understood how easy it can be to get in my position, make me feel positive and much better (not a failure) and help me become strong again - can't recommend enough and given you aren't paying for their help, you are truly making a difference and impact on every penny you pay back toward this goal of being debt free- it feels so good, that I don't want to spend on unnecessary rubbish and just feel good. From a feeling of deep despair to satisfaction

COVID sunk our finances into a deep hole of despair- the kind and helpful personal assistance from Stepchange assistants helped us work out a budget and presented us with a plan of action. Not only did this help us with peace of mind but for the first time in a long time we felt back in control. Over time there were considerate and helpful articles sent via email to help us with adjustments to our thinking and thus our spending habits.
