Fantastic

Best company

I first had to make the call after Covid and the advisors who I dealt with were so kind calm and non judgmental. They listened and provided a solution for me which I knew was gonna be a big change for me but the best one in the long run. Don’t bury your head in the sand!

My personal circumstances changed beyond belief and beyond my control. From having everything to nothing. From having a fantastic credit file to it being destroyed practically. I was at rock bottom. Maxed out my credit cards to survive etc etc. more going out then was coming in. But I fought to keep going and tried to pay my monthly commitments. But it became impossible. My only option? Suicide. Yes suicide. That would end all this. I was rock bottom. Then one day I called StepChange. I broke down. Someone listened to me and understood what I was going through. I felt ashamed. Ashamed of what had happened to me - but also ashamed of thinking my only option was to die! They helped me sooo much. Looked at my situation and came up with a payment solution I could afford. Yes it’ll take years to pay back but at least they’re getting something - but more importantly life has more hope now. if you’re in a similar situation don’t be ashamed to seek help! It works!
