When making a claim. There rubbish

Tesco is trying to do me over!!! The story is i had just come off broad street onto cross lane. Now there was a guy in a car in a parking postion on my left edging forward a silver car on my right. Now the guy on my left decides to pull out and do a Uturn. The car obviously is edging forward to wait for silver car to go past the ln i come driveing at 20-25 miles per hour down the road. I swerved to avoid him but was to late... yet they put me at fault now the cctv i got for them says it doesnt go in my favour as it looks like he is on the main road which he wasnt now i know the truth. So if the cctv doesnt show that it definatley cant show im lieing. Possible one of the most terrible things to hapoen to me and tesco just speak to me like rubbish it isnt fair. Stay clear as i believe that tesco are treating me like this as the other driver is too. So they dont care about me Reviewed on: 11th December 2019

Newer car, lower CC but a lot more money

Currently a policy holder and was trying to change my car insurance from one car to another that I was hoping to buy. The car was newer and engine size was lower but I was told it'd cost double my current monthly payments. Yet, checking confused.com I could get the same insurance for a lot less with the same place... Tesco. So I rang them for information and they told me over the phone this was due to under writers and to cancel my policy so I could reapply for the better price would cost 85 cancellation. never use them

3 months after the crash and still waiting. they have even written to me acknowledging I have a legitimate complaint and that they regret not meeting the required standard of service, but we still rung them every day and get prevarication, delay ans inaction. if i billed them for hours wasted it would double the payout due. I have a personal loan with them and despite all payments being made on time, my credit report has been attacked. After speaking to them they said "there is nothing they can do". Not sure how this is allowed. Sad stuff really. Reviewed on: 3rd November 2019

Whoever you insure with, do NOT use Tesco's!

Whoever you insure with, do NOT use Tesco Car insurance. I had a small accident in my car which was the fault of another driver. I had proof from witnesses and dash cam footage of the whole incident, yet Tesco admitted liability without even reviewing the evidence. The damage was not serious at all, easily repairable yet they quoted a £6000 repair bill. I had quotes from other official damage reapir garages that came in at just over £1000. They wrote my car off so I cancelled the claim, and all my accounts with Tesco. They registered my car as a write off because I did this. Horrendous

I am so lost about what to do about my insurance. My policy is £168.42 a month. It was a set amount of mileage - through a black box. I was since made redundant and now travel 38miles to work, and then back everyday. More than my policy allows. This means I have to pay minimum £101, usually more a month to top up my mileage. I asked if I could change my policy. They said no. The only thing I can do is keep topping up every month or cancel for £468 Reviewed on: 30th September 2019
