3590928N. Absolutely shocking experience with Tesco Insurance. My claim has been handled terribly from the beginning with constant delays, poor communication and zero accountability. I’ve had to chase things repeatedly and every time I speak to someone I get a different answer. The way this has been handled by people involved in my claim, including Nico Signorelli, has been extremely disappointing. Instead of properly investigating and resolving the issue, it feels like they are more interested in avoiding responsibility and dragging the process out. For a company as big as Tesco you would expect a professional and fair claims process, especially when customers are paying their premiums expecting support when something goes wrong. Instead the experience has been stressful, frustrating and completely unacceptable. I would strongly advise people to think carefully before taking insurance with Tesco if this is the level of service they provide when you actually need them. Reviewed on: 9th March 2026

I have been a policyholder for over 25 years and have never been requested to provide a photograph of my driver's license, vehicle logbook, or proof of vehicle purchase. These requests are unprecedented in my experience. I declined to provide proof of purchase, which resulted in the cancellation of my insurance policy. Complete and utter joke - do not insure your car with them. Had a brick through the back windscreen last night. I tell them and they say my car is a compete write off - got quotes from local car glass companies - £234 to replace the rear windscreen - playing for it myself. Very poor customer and complaint service

There's a reason it's cheap insurance. Which is fine if you don't have to claim. They use a network of repairers that don't know what they are doing. Blaming everyone else! No response to emails. It took over 3 months to get my car repaired. They use the"rapid repair network" ironically. Tesco complaints dept said my complaint wasn't up here, it was other people??? They don't pay, even if zhey admit their liability

I don't know if any of my connections had any experience with #TescoInsuranceandMoneyServices , but I had one of the worst ever possible experience. After having an accident with one of their insurers, they advised him not to accept his liability. After 2 years, after my insurer providing photo evidence to justify the liability, they admited their liability but they disagree with the cost of the hire car. Another 2 years have passed and we are waiting for the court in February. Meanwhile my insurance premium increased, few of my policy have been cancelled, I lost few thousands and days of my life.
