Stressless cover and cost.

Easily changed over our car reg.

Easily changed over our car reg. very polite staff and phone manner. They are also very good at keeping you up to date with renewal which you don’t always get with insurance. Reviewed on: 23rd August 2024

Good to have an actual person to speak to if needed

Had issue with first car and finance company but Tesco were great and helped me sort out new policy. Only gripe would be they don’t have multi car option. Reviewed on: 23rd August 2024

Dreadful useless portal used to check progress of repair. Incomprehensible drivel with appalling use of the English language and often just wrong. lead time for repair indicated 8 weeks so tried to go elsewhere but then you don’t get courtesy car. Paint shop customer service sucked although quality if job satisfactory. system riddled with fault demand answered phone 1 time in 4. Under staffed office working with crap systems. Excellent car insurance

From the moment I contacted Tesco insurance about the theft of my car, I was treated like a valued customer. The claim process was very easy. Communication was good throughout and text messages updating me about any messages. I was also able to submit any evidence plus various paperwork via a text link. Within 3 working days of submitting my claim, I received a text message saying I had an offer. The offer was very fair and actually more than I was expecting to be offered. Payment took one week to come through but apparently this was because the settlement amount was over £20k so had to go through manager approvals. Overall I’m very happy with the outcome to what was a terrible situation- no one wants to have their car stolen. Totally recommend Tesco and so grateful to them for the way in which they handled my claim. Reviewed on: 31st July 2024

The worst claims process ever, customer service is non existent, still no sign of my car being fixed after 10 days and won’t give you a courtesy car until they’ve got yours in the garage. Use direct line, might be more expensive but the service is super quick Reviewed on: 23rd July 2024
