Red Tape

I am an oap, so is hubby. I held this a/c for many years in my name. Having health problems I wanted to change the a/c to joint. The hoops we had to jump through were unbelieveable - they didn't recognise hubby, we've lived at the same address for many years. They needed not just a copy of his driving licence with photo, but a counter-signature of a notary or solicitor etc! Told them not to bother & closed the a/c & requested a cheque which they sent. Unneccesary red tape !!! I know their online current a/cs had been recently hacked, but really!! Their customer service was useless too - kept on hold on a 0845 number (not freephone) Disgusted Reviewed on: 12th February 2017

Good Interest Rates

Easy to use account, accessible, better interest rates than the high street banks for the lower amounts saved. Reviewed on: 19th February 2016

Great Interest

I have had an instant access savings account with Tesco for years and I have to admit that this is the best for interest. Even in this time of very low interests, they are still better than the high street banks. Only downside is always getting money out of the hole in the wall. Reviewed on: 27th January 2016
