Red Tape

I am an oap, so is hubby. I held this a/c for many years in my name. Having health problems I wanted to change the a/c to joint. The hoops we had to jump through were unbelieveable - they didn't recognise hubby, we've lived at the same address for many years. They needed not just a copy of his driving licence with photo, but a counter-signature of a notary or solicitor etc! Told them not to bother & closed the a/c & requested a cheque which they sent. Unneccesary red tape !!! I know their online current a/cs had been recently hacked, but really!! Their customer service was useless too - kept on hold on a 0845 number (not freephone) Disgusted Reviewed on: 12th February 2017
