I had phoned up to make initial payment and then make a date to set up a standing order which didn't get put through which meant missed payment. When ringing to find out what had happened no date had been put in the system and then this employee left no notes so other employees kept ringing to ask for payment!

We have a Tesco Clubcard Credit Card. We have had no issues with this card and chose it because we got 30 months interest free on purchases. We mainly interact with them through online banking but, on the occasion that I have had to call them, I have always been impressed that my phone call has been answered promptly. Also, the I have always found the staff on the phone to be extremely helpful, always managing to solve my query.

Fantastic customer service.

I have been a customer of tesco bank for car insurance and the clubcard credit card. The customer service i have recieved has been consistently excellent. Nothing is ever to much triuble, wait times are low and staff are very knowledgeable.

I am convinced there is no worse bank on this planet! They switched-off my paper statements, meaning I had to ring them to know how much and when to pay them. They assured me on many occasions that I would not be penalised for what was "their" error. Despite their assurances, I was and still am being penalised for their incompetence!!! Late Payment charges have been applied that I have not paid. They refuse to address the problems, even though I have written to both their previous and their current CEO's, but have notified Credit Reference agencies that "I am a bad payer". I have reported them to Rip Off Britain and Watchdog and am actively considering suing them for professional negligence!
