slapdash company - totally incompetent

I would like to give this company minus stars, but unfortunately it was not possible!! They have set up my details incorrectly and after countless emails to contact them, and 3 days of calling and waiting for 45mins plus then hanging up, on the 4th day i decided to wait the messages to speak, i waited one hour and 45mins, when i did finally get to speak to a proper person, the line got cut off!! I am not prepared to waste more of my time trying to put right this company errors. Basically they have been fraudently trying to take money from my account for an insurance policy that is not mine, they have been informed that they have the wrong details for the policy many time but are not taking note of this, , althought the policy itself is in the correct name of the person who policy it is. so because they have been trying to take money from my account instead of the policy owner account and it was refused as there is and has not been a direct debit set up, they have now decided to INCORECTLY put a black mark on my credit file and cancel the policy which is not my policy, but they have put it against my name so when i come to take insurance in the future this will affect my premium payable - because of their errors - i am being penalised. I feel now is time that I should seek legal advise for compensation for their incompetence, which is now causing me anxiety and adding to my depression and ill health. Reviewed on: 30th May 2023

They proactively reduce the price and tell you about it before you renew!

Many insurers tend to keep the price the same and leave it to you to shop around. Echoice proactively informs you that you can get a better deal so every time you renew the price is lower than the year before! What more could we ask? They recognise that they need us and they treat us accordingly. Reviewed on: 10th November 2015
