Ethical choices can change the world

With Triodos I feel that I am making the most ethical banking choice available to me. It's difficult for a consumer to feel like they can make a difference, but knowing Triodos finances renewal energy, nature restoration, healthcare and arts and culture, and not things that don't align with my values, such as weapons, oil, and gambling, means I can have some power in changing the world Reviewed on: 15th April 2025

Intuitive, straightforward and ethical

A unique bank, there for both people and planet!

Triodos is a unique bank, offering a personalized experience with a real human always there behind the scenes if you need them. They have excellent customer service and really seem to care about them. Opening any account is super easy and quick and the best thing of all, they support important social and environmental causes! Some of the best things about TRIODOS for me

Part of my frustration these days, and not just with banks, is that it's very difficult to actually get through the automated choices and dross music to speak to someone when there's something I need help with. I've always managed to get through to customer service really quick with TRIODOS and once I have the assistants are genuinely friendly and seem to enjoy their work which I hold as a testament to the fact that they actually enjoy working for this bank.. I'm also happy to have found a bank which invest 100% in ventures which I'm enthusiastic about and that absolutely none of my money is being invested in the war machine and dirty fossil fuels etc. Reviewed on: 15th April 2025

Triodos truly stewards my money

Triodos is one of the few banks in the UK that truly stewards money. My money is invested in projects that make our country (and world) a better place - and I don't have to do anything! We pay £3/month for a joint current account (so I know they're not trying to profit off my money in secret ways). The debit card and app do what they need to do, and it's all very easy to manage. There are no branches so a few things still need to be done by post, but much less since the app got better. I absolutely recommend them. Reviewed on: 15th April 2025

Positive and negative experiences

Multiple experiences of slow bank transfers appearing in people's accounts. Multiple experiences of rejected payments despite enough money being in my account. Friendly and helpful staff. Not long to wait when you contact them. Reviewed on: 15th April 2025
