Banking with a conscience

I moved to Triodos because I wanted transparency, good customer service and I needed to know that my money was doing more good than harm. It is a bank still connected to people and planet, this ethical approach (for customers and businesses) has transformed my concept of what banking used to be and what it can be. Triodos keeps me informed about local and global issues that are relevant in the here and now, proving that banking can work with a conscience. This is refreshing and transformative. Love having an ethical option with great service and products

This is a fabulous bank. The communication and ease of switching to the current account was really good. Every time I have needed to get in touch I had been able to speak directly to a person and the interaction has been human and very helpful. Even if it wasn't an ethical bank I would highly recommend it. The reason I switched was to have a more ethical product and I am so glad I did. Reviewed on: 15th December 2019

Ethical & Transparent Banking

I chose Triodos because of it's ethical and transparent investments. I know my money is invested in positive enterprises, rather than than fossil fuels or similar. I wish more banks would follow its lead. Reviewed on: 15th December 2019

A bank that cares about more than its bank balance

Triodos does not exist to make a profit for itself. Everything penny it lends is about making the world a better place; whether it be supporting a fair trade venture or financing a supergreen building project. I wouldn’t bank with anyone else Reviewed on: 15th December 2019

Happy banking

Other than the difficulty when trying to withdraw more cash than the daily allowance I have been very pleased with Triodos. I like knowing that my money is not being used to support unethical ventures but is being used in a way that makes the world a better place for the people who will inherit it. Making my money work positively

The functionality and efficiency of my Triodos current account is as good as any other current account provider I have used. But on top of that which I would expect from Triodos I have the pleasure of knowing that while my money is in my account not being used by me, Triodos is able to use it to support its lending to projects that are making a positive social and environmental difference. And then on top of that I can actually see for myself who Triodos is lending the money to through the very user friendly Community link on my Triodos banking app. I have used the account all round the world and I have been able to see what Triodos is doing in those countries through the same link. Simply the best!

They not only provide ethical alternatives for investing or just keeping your money, but also provide excellent personal service by telephone.
