The Triodos Personal Current Account has a low monthly fee.

You can manage your account via an app and there’s a Bristol-based contact team if you need support. Triodos don’t offer an overdraft facility or immediate faster payments. You’ll get text message alerts to help you manage your money and online statement.

They care more about people and planet earth

They care more about people and planet earth than most banks, they are transparent, I can see where my money goes. I couldn't do that with NatWest! I'm not sure who they are financing and I don't want me money going to some dodgy place! They should shout and celebrate their investments. How many banks with help a charity out? Not many. I feel happy that my money is being held in a safe, ethical bank that isn't being used to harm anyone or anything around the world. There is no difference I have noticed from using this bank instead of a bigger bank and think they are very professional and easy to bank with. Reviewed on: 21st February 2025

I love Triodos

I love Triodos… not only is it the most ethical bank in the UK (probably the World) but it is great on customer service! The bank keeps you informed, they produce an interesting and informative newsletter and do everything (safely) online.. Reviewed on: 21st February 2025

Triodos getting better all the time!

I joined a few years ago, and Triodos were earnest, but sometimes less reliable than my old bank. But they have got better (particularly switching to Visa for debit card helped), and their values are right up there with mine, which gives me a fuzzy warm feeling. There is a fee for the current account, but at least it's transparent. Reviewed on: 21st February 2025
