Terrible Paid insurance for years. My dog was put to sleep recently - tried to claim of insurance & told not possible to claim as my dog was over 8yrs old !!! Reviewed on: 9th October 2023

Review of the Animal Friends, Pet Insurance:

Friendly staff. Better processes and advise needed.

Friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately the cover is confusing, I would have liked better guidance on the different policies, what they cover and how they might be useful as a pet owner e.g. £12k per year is good for young dogs who might have an accident, £1k per condition better for older dogs who have a mixture of ongoing ailments. The process of submitting a claim is arduous and I don’t like the lack of an itemised list for what has been paid out. I would like to see more advise about where to buy medications for pets during an economic crisis. It’s beneficial for everyone as there’s a considerable cost saving for them. Easy to deal with

I’ve made a couple of claims over the years. First vet practice didn’t deal directly with AF, paper work was easy, my current vet practice does all the paperwork so even simpler. Paid out promptly both times. I understand premiums increase annually but they have increased quite a bit the last 2 years, still the peace of mind is worth it. Reviewed on: 5th August 2023

Great Reliable Insurers

I've been using Animal Friends for 4 1/2 years now. They have saved me thousands over the years. Never had any issues with paying out. Only 2 slight issues I have, but hasn't become a big problem. Simple claims process

Claim for ongoing skin condition paid quickly every month. Most competitive policy price and lovely staff. Would recommend Animal Friends without hesitation. This is the second pet we have insured with this company. Reviewed on: 5th August 2023
