Unfortunately we’ve had a few vets visits with our dog. Claims are submitted by our vets and reviewed and paid in a matter of days by Animal Friends. Excellent service. Reviewed on: 25th August 2024

Excellent insurance for older dogs

We have an older dog and each time we have needed to use our insurance to help with medical costs the agents at Animal friends have been caring and sympathetic. Money is transferred rapidly with no chasing required. The policy we have is very transparent so we know the exact costs prior to a claim. Reviewed on: 24th August 2024

Really easy to see policy details, competitive pricing and brilliant added extras included, such as video vet calls. Lifetime cover was a must for me and they offer this which is fantastic. It’s easy to submit claims. Reviewed on: 23rd August 2024

Friendly staff. Better processes and advise needed.

Friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately the cover is confusing, I would have liked better guidance on the different policies, what they cover and how they might be useful as a pet owner e.g. £12k per year is good for young dogs who might have an accident, £1k per condition better for older dogs who have a mixture of ongoing ailments. The process of submitting a claim is arduous and I don’t like the lack of an itemised list for what has been paid out. I would like to see more advise about where to buy medications for pets during an economic crisis. It’s beneficial for everyone as there’s a considerable cost saving for them.
