No mention of the change on paper or online statements (which still showed the points long after the schemed ended, no mention of it on the freedom rewards website or in the mobile app) No help from Customer services, they simply repeat "We sent you an email" and do not listen or help. Simply an email to tell their customers they have a new scheme is not enough - firstly they have more than one comms channel they could use and secondly they deliberately made that message vague - it should early on have said "you will loose the monetary value of your points unless you take action". Simple. The fact Barclaycard didn't try very hard to get that message across speaks volumes...nice way for them to avoid paying customers what they owe them..
