Overall Good Service Been with Churchill for many years, and always had good service. They are not quite as good as they were on price competitiveness. Reviewed on: 8th September 2025

The Home Insurance option is a standard policy. Churchill’s Home Plus policy includes all the features of Home Insurance but with extras included, such as cover for accidental damage, home emergency cover and family legal protection.

Are existing customers treated fairly?

When my home and contents cover came up for renewal I was horrified that the premium had gone up by over 35% so we did some research for better offers. Using the same data we discovered that insuring house and contents separately was much cheaper than doing them together. Churchill also told me on the phone that if I went elsewhere then I would get a better offer next year! In the end we have re-insured partly with Churchill and gone elsewhere for the contents saving us nearly £90 overall. Reviewed on: 27th August 2023

Responsive on renewal quote

I’m fortunate that we haven’t had to make any claims for years. On our renewal the increased costs were a concern. Following a discussion these were reduced. Reviewed on: 26th August 2023

Be careful, they sneakily jack up prices over time

They bump up your home insurance price 20% every year of you don't contact them to reduce it They charge monthly payments as a credit so there's another 20% ripoff there Reviewed on: 14th June 2023

Churchill and Diect line Home insurabe is awful !

Nearly five months after my burst pipe chutchill. Home insurance are still trying to dodge my valid claim. They have been incompetent bunglers throighout and have been no help at all. SO do not trust them or their underwriters. ! Reviewed on: 30th April 2023
