Impossible to talk to anybody

Esure live chat is never available. I tries 17 times. The email address has been closed down. The complaints emaill address is un monitored and the only contact can be made to the South African call centre. You cannot discuss anything and have to accept anything the computer comes up with. Cancellation I was offered £86 back from a £390 policy with 5 months remaining. Changebof reg I went from a £70,000 car Group 50 to a £8,000 car group 27 and i had to pay them £15.99! You can't discuss this as the call centre agents just say the computer gives the figure. I tried to complain but they will not action the complaint. You can't win with this company. Cowboys

Car was stolen on the 12th July. It’s now 23rd October and no payout. One phone call 55mins, I was told payment had been made. 7 days later no money. Another 1hr 22min call. I was told due to storm they were having difficulties and was promised someone would call me back. 5 days later still no phone call. Replied and sent a further 2 emails to an engineer called Morag Ross. Doesn’t bother responding, emailed customer services twice no response. Finally took the first step to “filing a complaint” and it’s been 3 days… nothing. When you get a quote from Esure, spend a £1000 more if you need to and go with the next provider otherwise you will regret it. 23rd October 20:48 UPDATE: Got through to someone today who told me they were going to investigate and call me back. No call. 26th October 08:59 UPDATE: I was told 2 days ago a payment has been made. Finance company haven’t received anything. 2nd November Got an email from the CEO office to tell me payment had been sent on the 25th of October. Called today and the finance company still haven’t received any money. The saga continues. Reviewed on: 3rd November 2023

Cancel policy

Car accident nightmare

After my car accident. Rang ESure after an hour some one eventually answered after taking my details was told some one would contact me. No one did. Over the space of 3 days I tried contacting them each time roughly over an hour on hold each time. I was lucky due to no fault accident I did get a hire car. Eventually over a week later numerous calls they offered me a pathetic payment declined this l.again the no contact and me continually on hold a better offer was made. I agreed to this to only get a check through the postto the amount of the first price. Stressed out is not the word over this Web site live chat is a joke first says your not logged in even when you are. cancelling policy

having sold our vehicle we tried to cancel the policy directed to use the hub eventually got notification that it would be cancelled and the fee for doing such only to then receive emails to inform us that we have been registered for automatic renewal and retention of our bank details. then had to ring and was kept waiting for over an hour to be told we had to go through this process yet again and our yet to receive confirmation of our policy being cancelled. in total this took 4 hours and is still not resolved Reviewed on: 30th October 2023

They avoid them, they generate fictitious debts, they try to extort money

I had my car insurance with them, I gave written notice of termination before the end of the contract, the letter was sent with confirmation of delivery/receipt. The company still claims that I had insurance with them, they pretend that there is no one "on the other side", they only sent e-mails with fictitious debt status and now they have referred the case to the C.A.R.S. debt collection company. From what I read on the ESURE forum, this is a common situation. In my opinion, these two companies cooperate illegally by creating fictitious debts. Maybe we can end this practice together? Maybe the prosecutor and the court should look into the activities and connections between these companies? I'm sorry, but I do not know English very well. I hope you understood the meaning. Worst customer support I've ever experienced

They have the worst customer support I have ever experienced, they want you to make changes and cancel things online but this just says you can't do it. Then you call them wait over 30 minutes speak to someone who then says you need to speak to a different person then after another 20 minutes it cuts you off I went round in circles doing this for almost 4 hours. Then I used the online chat waited over 30 minutes again to be asked irrelevant personal questions before finally they canceled my policy. Then today I find nothing has happened I'm now going through all this again its absolutely ridiculous it takes no time at all to take out insurance with then but it seems they'll do anything to stop you getting through to cancel. Poor Service

I have been with esure for the past 2 years and I have had an extremely negative experience. I had an accident on 16th September, and since then, Esure has been unable to resolve my case. I reported the accident by providing all the information and photos online. No response from Esure. Their phone lines are consistently busy, and after waiting for approximately 50 minutes in the queue, my calls are disconnected. Live chat isn't working at all. I have 16 years of no-claim discount and I am paying them £1200/year. They aren't competitively priced any more. Reviewed on: 17th October 2023

Incompetent start to finish

Leave 0 stars if possible , nothing but hassle start to finish . Won't answer the phone and leave you on hold for hours at a time hoping the line cuts off. Incompetent staff that can't take notes or resolve simple problems like passing details on to garage and enterprise. Reviewed on: 13th October 2023

Just PRAY you DON'T make changes mid-way through your policy. You are probably reading this review after having issue(s) with their SA-based online-only 'customer service' Due to this company's incompetence, you might well wind up having your vehicle seized or impounded because they will tell you the car is insured via webchat but when the police call the UK-based line to confirm, well guess what you were never insured at all!!
