Theft claim - all agreed but no payment and no longer responding

It has been 4 months since I reported my car stolen from outside my home. I provided the relevant documents, DVLA number etc on day one. After much back and forth, they accepted the incident reference number was the crime reference number (!). Valuation provided and agreed within 24 hours. No payment a month later and no response to daily emails. Have tried to telephone, many attempts on hold more than one hour later, still not spoken to anyone. Formal complaint made, no response. Terrible customer service

Total Shamles of a company.

Truly a shambles of a company. Had a stolen car crash into mine on the street. Had to pay £1500 in excess, had all my no claims taken off me and claim down as at fault against my wifes name even though she wasnt even in the country. Loads of false information given, no effort made to claim from the stolen cars insurer and impossible to get through to. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY. Almost 3 hours waiting on the phone and they hung up

Avoid at all costs

I have my car insurance with Esure. I contacted them when an Argos delivery van hit my parked car. I had to pay the £500 excess to get my car back after it had been repaired. I sold the car but I’m still paying monthly premiums as they won’t let me cancel as there is a claim. They are doing absolutely nothing to get it sorted. I have been waiting 5 months and I am out of pocket by hundreds of pounds. They are absolutely rubbish!! Reviewed on: 26th September 2023

great if you love to hold on the phone for 1 hour to then be cut off!

I wanted to make a small admendment to my policy. Esure clearly do not have enough customer service operatives working so was holding for just under 1 hour. It sounded like somebody had answered (as the wait music stopped) however nobody was speaking on the other end. Hopefully this doesn't leave me in a precarious position as how can your insurance be voided if you were unable to make the necessary changes due to eSure negligence? AVOID AT ALL COSTS

They renewed without any notification or renewal quote. Charged a higher amount and then set up a finance agreement in my name without my knowledge! They then charged me £51 to cancel a policy I had no knowledge of! Complaints department were supposed to get back to me within 3 days! No response! I’m now referring it to the FCA and the financial ombudsman! Reviewed on: 18th September 2023
