I mention that always I had a good statement and I had half year ago another loan and I covered in full after few months. So... everybody can have diffixulties, but unfortunately they were unable yo help. Thanks anyway

Have banked with the halifax for 20 years. The ease of getting anything sorted is superb. I bank online and the app is so easy to use, if I do need to ring for anything the call centre sort out queries in next to no time. The members of staff in my local branch are the best, always there to help with a smile.

Great customer service

I have always found that the in branch service is of high standard. The products available reflect my lifestyle and there are always offers and initiatives to save money. These offers are aimed at their existing customers.

years ago somebody at Halifax made a mistake which left me and my son without house insurance since my husband passed away. I was on the phone for over two and a half hours being redirected between 8 members of staff who refused to help me. then I was put through to 'customer services' in the Advantage Reward Account team who accosted me with zero sensitivity as if It's my fault that I didn't check to see if their staff had messed up. disgusting.

easy and straightforward

I have been with halifax since I was a student and they consistently give me the most straightforward and helpful experience. Their customer service with issues such as address change and overdraft limit arranged is brilliant.

Easy To Use

The online banking app makes it easy to keep up to date with your finances. You can also pay cheques up to £500 online now which saves a trip in to town. If you do need to go in to the branch the staff are always helpful and efficient.

Good current account

Halifax have served us well as a bank. The internet banking is very occasionally down for maintenance, but generally very good. My main complaint is that the monthly bonus has dropped from £5 to £2 which isn't very good.

I have been a customer with Halifax since 2011 and have had ongoing problems with them.

Over the years my debit card gets unexpectedly blocked by Halifax when they decide there has been a few too many transactions (online shopping etc.) I have complained several times about how they will just block a card and do nothing to resolve it.

Recently I have decided to switch because I had my purse stolen in town, with both my Halifax credit and debit cards in. I received the credit card (not working, contactless not authorised) and from 15th Feb as of today 26th Feb I have yet to receive my debit card.

No response from Halifax, have had to rely on cash from family for the past 2 weeks and have embarrassingly had to hand things back at checkout when cash couldn't cover it. I am completely dependent on Halifax and they leave me without any cards for nearly 2 weeks.

Opening a case with Financial Ombudsman out of principle. Can't wait to switch to RBS

Quids in!

My current bank with whome I had been with for 25 years were becoming boring ,unforgiving and uncurrent so I saw a refreshing change with a bonus with Halifax . Not only a good move, I was paid for doing it! Thankyou.

Charged me over £6k in interest on a £5k overdraft and refused to help me when I begged for help

Crooks, simple as that. Begged them for help when I was under huge financial pressure after my partner had a mental health breakdown. They did virtually nothing. Even threatened me after I went onto a DMP.
