Opening a joint current account.

Having already had a Current Account with Halifax for many years with no problems, my partner and I decided it time to open a joint account with the bank. Choosing to open a joint account with Halifax was a great choice. The meeting was quick and straightforward as the advisor was very helpful and informative. The account was available as soon as the meeting finished and the advisor helped set-up online access for my partner. The cards then arrived within a few days. Overall, a great service. Brilliant customer service

decent enough incentive now, no complaints

Halifax now give you a fiver a month for having a current account with them. Initially this was only given if you got paid over £1000 (or was it £1500?) a month, which i thought was a bit unfair as the people that would appreciate it the most wouldn't receive it. However now the pay in limit is less. They also offers with various companies if you use your card i.e 10% cashback if you use your card at Nandos, Morrisons, Argos etc. Reviewed on: 9th August 2015

Awful!

Awful customer service from my local branch, they are very rude and even if the queue is short you are waiting forever to be served. I had problems with my bank account and they were very unhelpful. I changed to Barclays straight away and have never looked back! Reviewed on: 9th August 2015

Decent

Still a great card...

This card used to be one of the best available. Lots of competition means lots of great card cards are now on the market, but this card remains good due to the customer service on offer Reviewed on: 23rd June 2015

Not very rewarding for 20 years loyalty

I have been a member of the Halifax bank since my mother signed me up to a child account and I never really looked at it until now. It has been around 20 years I have been with the Halifax and I have had no rewards or special rates to make me stay. In short, I have now left the bank because the customer helplines were also busy, staff in the bank were not very helpful and generally they didn't seem bothered at all. Reviewed on: 28th April 2015

Halifax current account has allways severd me well

I have always been happy with my Halifax current account and have always found the staff extremely helpful and competent. face to face visits to the bank are always met with friendly helpful staff and when I have a problem that I try to resolve by telephone they are also sorted out prompt with equally helpful friendly staff. I have no reason to change my account as I am 100 per cent satisfied with the treatment I receive from my bank. Reviewed on: 27th April 2015
