Not very rewarding for 20 years loyalty

I have been a member of the Halifax bank since my mother signed me up to a child account and I never really looked at it until now. It has been around 20 years I have been with the Halifax and I have had no rewards or special rates to make me stay. In short, I have now left the bank because the customer helplines were also busy, staff in the bank were not very helpful and generally they didn't seem bothered at all. Reviewed on: 28th April 2015

Halifax current account has allways severd me well

I have always been happy with my Halifax current account and have always found the staff extremely helpful and competent. face to face visits to the bank are always met with friendly helpful staff and when I have a problem that I try to resolve by telephone they are also sorted out prompt with equally helpful friendly staff. I have no reason to change my account as I am 100 per cent satisfied with the treatment I receive from my bank. Reviewed on: 27th April 2015

I've been a customer with the halifax for more years than I care to remember, in that time I have experienced both side of their customer service from the shockingly bad to they couldn't have been more helpful. Most of the bad service I've had has been over the phone, they clearly don't care about what ever you've phoned up about where as the counter staff in the branches do every thing in their power to sort out any problems you might have. Many go above and beyond to sort things out for you. On the whole I have been satisfied with the customer service I have received from this bank. amazing experience

I have recently switched my account to halifax and service I have received was outstanding. Every direct debit and credit moved to my new account in 7 days as promised without any problem and I was welcomed with £125. On top I get £5 a month for my credit...not too bad Reviewed on: 24th April 2015

I've had this bank account for amny years now and have found staff to be very friendly both counter staff and telephone banking. This account allow an overdraft, however, the rates are not very competative compared to other high street banks. Reviewed on: 24th April 2015

helpful banking

I have had an account with Halifax for a number of years and have always been happy with it. I get £5 a month reward for running the reward current account. I know the interest rates are very poor but this £5 helps offset this somewhat. I have always found the branch staff friendly and helpful. Easy transition from one bank to Halifax with great cutomer service

I recently changed current accounts from NatWest to halifx. The process was smooth and any help I needed was readily available. The account has some good perks and the mobile app is very clear. I would definitely recommend. Reviewed on: 21st April 2015

No issues, straightforward banking

I have had no issues with Halifax as my main current account provider. Everything runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis and, any time I have needed to contact them for any reason, the service I have received has been very good and helpful. Their online banking service is very straightforward and helps me get things done without any hassle. I have no complaints. Reviewed on: 21st April 2015
