Lending experience.

I recently had s great lending experience with HSBC. They gave me a very competituve rate and sllowed ne a nice dtart up loan tor my budiness. I wouod highly recommend HSBC. Reviewed on: 13th April 2015

Simple, no stress manageable

Too much interest

Con Job

Offered a 3.5% loan by email. Applied through online banking at 3.5% for a quote all looks fine. Filled in the application form and at the end it came up with an alternative quote at 18%.. Daylight robbery. I have been with this bank for over 30 years. Reviewed on: 28th July 2022

Lied about pre-approval

Received a letter saying that we were pre-approved for a £10,000 loan at around 2.5% interest (can't remember exactly). This would have been a huge help as a consolidation loan for us so we were exited to finally be able to get our finances under control. After going through all the process we were offered the loan but at a much higher rate of interest. I'm sure they do it in purpose so that people have already spent the money in their heads and still go along with the more expe... Reviewed on: 12th January 2022

Process slow and difficult online

I applied for a personal loan, which claimed to give me a decision in five working days with a statement that this could take longer because of Covid. Up to 10 working days. It has taken three weeks and I still have no decision. They have asked for bank details and income details two weeks after the first application and when these were uploaded, I received no feedback, until I chased them by phone. HSBC WILL BANKRUPT YOU WITHOUT A THOUGHT

i HAD BOTH MY PERSONAL AND BUSINESS ACCOUNTS WITH HSBC AFTER LEAVING BARCLAYS OF 28 YEARS. THIS WAS THE BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE. THEY LOCKED BOTH BANKS WITHOUT A PHONE CALL TEXT OR EMAIL TO TELL ME, I HAD TO FIND OUT WHEN I COULDNT GET MONEY OUT, PAY ANYONE AND ALSO NO ONE COULD PAY ME. AFTER DAYS AND DAYS ON THE PHONES COMPLAINING I STILL HAVENT RECIEVED ANY INFORMATION AS TO WHY THEY CLOSED MY ACCOUNTS AND WAS TOLD IT COULD TAKE UP TO 8 WEEKS. WELL IM SUPPOSED TO PAY PEOPLE...
