Best of traditional and modern banking

This is a review of a Club Lloyds current account held at the Helston, Cornwall branch. In the branch you get traditional, competent service and you rarely have to wait long. The staff make a real point of being friendly and welcoming and don't take offence when I tell them that I don't want to use the new-fangled machine for paying in cheques and I don't want a financial review and I don't want their home insurance. I'm very happy with the Club Lloyds current account that pays a great interest rate and is accessible via a web-site that hardly ever goes down and I get access to the Club Lloyds monthly saver and they even send me a copy of Runners' World every month! Daily charges for the use of an authorised overdraft

It is very wrong to charge for the use of an authorised overdraft especially the daily charges when I am already paying a monthly fee for my current account. Other banks do not charge thses fees. Reviewed on: 11th January 2019

A Club Lloyds account has many benefits and is free to operate as long as you maintain a balance of £5,000 and have two direct debits monthly. You can also obtain loans at low interest rates as enjoy, in my case, free cinema tickets. I would recommend this account, and also the Club saver, to almost anyone. Reviewed on: 3rd January 2019

Used to be good but on decline

When we first took this account out we were getting over £15 a month reward we now get less than half that. The rewards are either a magazine subscription, dining card or cinema tickets which we don't really use either so we would rather have the money than the reward Reviewed on: 31st December 2018
