Review of the Monmouthshire Building Society, Savings:

Friendly helpful staff.

Main reason for my satisfaction with Monmouthshire Building Society is the friendly, helpful staff at its Caldicot branch. They are always ready to help and advise - making saving with them a pleasure. I only wish I could afford to save more but... the amount I save doesn't seem to be an issue as I believe I get treated as well as a customer saving considerably more. I own my own house and can't, certainly for the foreseeable future see me needing a mortgage but, if I did, I would have no hesitation in seeking advice from my local branch. Always a warm welcome at my local branch

Visiting Monmouthshire Building Society branches is always a very happy experience. I was a loyal customer of the Abergavenny branch until it closed last year, now I have to travel to Monmouth, but I always get a friendly welcome and personalised helpful service. Reviewed on: 13th May 2025

We are open on Tuesdays and Fridays between 10am and 3:30pm (closed between 1pm and 2pm). We would love to see you there! Local and convenient, face to face with actual people which is more personal, Sarah has been a support from the start. If I have any issues she is the go to person, as she is always helpful and happy to chat and this makes things easier all round. She always has the time of day for me and is very knowledgeable which is what you need in a building society. Reviewed on: 30th April 2025
