This is about setting up the new app -- very good experience - easy to follow steps - good that various otps's required. Only points I'd make are (1) Notification needed that user needs to agree to all sections individually on t&c front screen (2) notification needed that account no. should not contain "-" which are shown on pass book Reviewed on: 21st August 2026

CHEQUES LOST INTERNALLY AT MONMOUTHSHIRE BS

After depositing a cheque at the end of June in a local branch, I was told over 2 weeks later that it could not be found. Please be aware that MBS need to pay cheques into HSBC and due to bank closures this is often done via the Post Office. My cheque did not make it to HSBC. Apparently 3 other cheques were lost on the same day! After internal investigations, my cheque has not been found and so I am missing a considerable amount of money. I am now overdrawn in my current account and awaiting Monmouthshire Building Society to credit my account with the value of the cheque I paid in. I have patiently waited 7 weeks but I now really need the money. Reviewed on: 16th August 2026

The App is rubbish use the website.

I gave a poor rating because i could not register with the app and login.The app kept coming up with error messages regarding my phone number,my pin number and then it just said phone customer services.I gave up after talking to customer services twice in 3 hours waiting to try and sort the problem. I had to register on the website and wait for my activation key.Really poor App. Reviewed on: 7th August 2026
