Useless Monmouth BS App

In order to open a savings account with Monmouth BS you have to use an App which is sadly the way a lot of financial companies are going. Of course it would help if the App actually worked but it is useless. I have a UK mobile phone number which is needed to register and receive a code. I type the code in and nothing happens. I have requested repeated codes and it still will not accept the code and continue. There is the odd occasion when it does move through to selecting a product but of course it locks up there too. An embarrassing load of rubbish. Reviewed on: 8th April 2026

Awful client registration journey

You stopped my access via the app die a ‘technical issue’. You forced me to re register. You asked me to enter a unique id from an email. I did and you did not accept it and locked me out. Reviewed on: 4th April 2026

The online service is disgracefully bad.

The online service is disgracefully bad. I had to change my login details on 22 April 2022 - failed logins, numerous phone calls - in the end they admitted it was an error at their end. Failed again on 20/06/2025, 08/12/2025 and again today 28/03/2026. Reviewed on: 28th March 2026
