Informative, Real Time, Fun

Monzo has changed the way I do banking, and the way I manage my money Living on a tight budget means every penny has to be accounted. With real-time spending tracking, I know my exact balance the second I spend something. No more waiting 3 days and second guessing. They're also really open and transparent. Every issue they come across is explained and communicated to members. Even ones that they could perhaps keep to themselves. I got locked out my account for no apparent reason,...

I got locked out my account for no apparent reason, they said it’s just “checks” but no info was given. had my money stuck for almost month. never again. too much stress for a bank. Reviewed on: 15th April 2025

Absolutely love Monzo, it's a game-changer!

Love pretty much everything about Monzo, having used them since 2018. Amazing app, beautiful UI and makes everything super easy. Love the fee-free international card payments (initially why I joined). Support is an absolute game-changer (no phone calls & helpful in-app chat with a way nicer UX). Also love other handy features like pots, notifications, bill splitting, early salary payments and sending money to other Monzo users (without bank details). Also being able to view all older transactions and more flexibility with generating statements. Funny seeing the legacy banks suddenly play catch-up now while Monzo rapidly gains customers. However, I only use the free plan since I personally struggle to see the value in the paid plans. Another thing is that I still have to use my legacy bank for cheques - if Monzo supported that it's another reason not to have to use a legacy bank. Reviewed on: 15th April 2025

I moved from another bank after over 20 years!

I moved from another bank (which I have also worked for for 24 years) five years ago and have never looked back. Monzo are leaps and bounds ahead of other high street banks. So efficient and easy to use features on the app. I actually get excited by banking. I tell everyone I know about the app and all the features and have recently upgraded to Monzo Max.
