I joined monzo, leaving Barclays after 14 years.

I joined monzo, leaving Barclays after 14 years. Even though monzo don’t have any building to physically go into, the app is so good that you don’t need a building. It’s very easy to use, easy to get help and I like that they give you the option to have your money early on occasion. They make the app so self explanatory that it’s hard to get lost or not know what you’re doing with it. I’d recommend Monzo to anybody. I also like the colour of their cards, it makes it easy to pinpoint. Reviewed on: 11th June 2026

Great as a seperate savings account

Using Monzo as a separate savings account from my current account with another well known high street bank. Monzo allows you to create pots which are really handy for saving for certain events-such as Christmas, holidays or a big purchase such as a car. The option to save the pots as an isa account means interest is added each month as long as you deposit money! App is really easy to use! Reviewed on: 9th June 2026

Nothing but amazing

Monzo have been an amazing bank since the start, especially after a RTC which cause lengthy overdraft issues they where understanding and helped fully. There great support helps within the day although would be great to have everything stick to the same agent sometimes or be able to call over chat box as it is much easier to in some cases to talk than text issues, apart from that it's amazing and the app is beautiful there app development team have done an amazing job. Financial Freedom

I switched to Monzo this year and it has been absolutely the best thing in terms of visibility and management of my finances, not just across my Monzo accounts and 'pots' but accounts with other providers too. The salary sorting is amazing and let's me to see clearly how much disposable income I have left after setting aside for bills etc. The savings challenge is great and allowing me to to set aside some money too. The only downside I found so far is that I had to post a cheque that was for an amount of greater than £500 as it was above the limit to scan on the app and this take some time to clear. Monzo has tonnes of features and the app is easy to use - they're miles ahead of the standard high street banks and I wish I'd switched sooner. Reviewed on: 23rd May 2026
