A safe pair of hands

I’ve used MT for many years and always been happy with their claims experience. They are compassionate, trustworthy and the cover is second to none. They are also competitive for pricing. Reviewed on: 8th August 2023

Huge Annual increases on Lifetime pet cover

In 3 years it has increased from £396.72 to £578.52 to £753.89 annual premiums for lifetime cover over 3 years. That is a 32% and then 24% increase each year! Wow! We have not made a single claim in that time and there is no justification for it. Reviewed on: 7th November 2016

Not really insurance

Initially charged a competitive premium. Our bulldog required treatment for cherry eye on each eye (which now cannot occur again since the glands were surgically removed). This is common in bulldogs and is reflected in slightly higher premiums. Both claims dealt with quickly. When renewal time came the premium had gone up by the amount they had paid to meet the claims ie about 600 pounds! I queried this with them, told them i'd move and they couldn't have cared less. If i'd not have had insurance and paid the vet myself i'd have been better off. Needless to say i have moved, got both dogs covered at a fraction of the price with a smaller excess. Caring company, compassionate at sad times in your animals' life

More Than were fantastic to deal with when it came to the end of life care for our dog, Scrappy -doo. After a short illness that we were covered for, we found the company a delight to deal with at such a difficult time. We even got a refund as they were in touch with our vets, and found we were paying for cover for a short while after Scrappy died. Fantastic company, would definitely recommend. Great initial coverage but swift rise in premiums.

The coverage we got for our initial price was great , indeed the coverage still is good , but the premiums have risen steeply. Comparing similar products with at least as good coverage for a dog the age of ours and with no claims made, they are now notably cheaper. Reviewed on: 14th August 2016
