Brilliant products and especially rewards for loyalty - something hard to find in financial services. Customer service is second to none and they are very supportive. Initiatives such as Fairer Share and supermarket shopping cashback have been deeply positive initiatives especially in terms of the cost of living crisis. Overall a brilliant building society. It's like banking in the 50s. Dreadful. They send you a silly plastic card reader you need to do any sort of action. Even access your account. Reviewed on: 30th December 2023

I have had nothing but problems dealing with Nationwide. It has been the worst experience I have ever had with any banking organisation. I have been lied to and let down every time I have tried dealing with them, the service has been completely inadequate. I also have a Virgin Bank account, they have been great with no issues. I am now closing the Nationwide account to move elsewhere. I would highly recommend using anyone else rather than Nationwide. Reviewed on: 28th December 2023

My money has been stolen by this Nationwide

I have been a customer with nationwide building society for over 19 years ; with no justification or so far my account has withheld without access to my money; I requested the account to be closed and at the time of writing this text here, over 3 weeks or money hasn’t been sent, avoid them as they are very racist bank in the UK Reviewed on: 6th October 2023

AVOID AVOID AVOID AT ALL COST AVOID AVOID AVOID AT ALL COST Banking with them 20 years. Today they froze my account becouse I made a payment of £750 to my brother account and they decided its fraud. Bare in mind we have same surname. Call them, toldem thats not fraud its me sending my money to my brother account.Lots of intrusive questions, why, what for, my brother date of birth, insinuating that I may suport criminal activities, I gave them the reson they said they are not convinced as i could make it up. Is this for real ?? Whats wrong with this people? They froze my account cos Loren felt like it. What a dystopian world we live in? I will sort out legal advise and I am out off there.
