Great personal service with all the trimmings

Had cause to use the personal legal insurance package that was part of the home insurance. Turned out that it was one of the highest levels of personal legal insurance that can be offered by an insurance company and came in very very useful for us, at no expense and without having to claim off the policy. Highly recommended in addition for the personal service where one local officer deals with you insurance case. Reviewed on: 15th August 2018

Hassle free for a complicated house move

I was in the process of moving home but without going directly from one house to another. I already had home and contents insurance with NFU and after emails and phone calls readily answered I was able to continue cover for contents only for a short period of time. However, due to delays in securing the new property, I remained in contact with NFU and was able to extend the cover several times over. They're very good.

They're very good. They insure my home. I pay by direct debit. They're an insurance company that do insurance, and they insure me. I am insured by them. My home is not insured by anyone else. Reviewed on: 23rd August 2024

Insurance You Can Rely On

I have had Building and Contents Insurance with NFU for 20 years. I needed an insurer with a flexible approach, as I live in a Barn Conversion where standard insurance cover simply didn't fit the bill. NFU were easy to talk to with a 'can do' approach both friendly and professional. With a loyalty bonus each year that makes me feel valued. Reviewed on: 24th August 2023

Efficient, helpful and easy to deal with

Personal, caring insurance provider

NFU have been our insurers for many years. The premium is very reasonable for the cover they provide, when we were running our own business from home & now we have retired. They are very flexible and will make alterations to the policy with a quick phone call. They remind us each year well before the renewal date and are happy to come out to see us to discuss any changes we might need. I would highly recommend NFU

They are a brilliant organisation - it doesn’t matter which of their products you need; you can rely on them all. The company are efficient, organised, responsive, and their customer service is superb. Reviewed on: 14th July 2023

No payment on any claim

I have been with NFU for over 20 years, they have wriggled out of every claim by telling me 'that is not insured' or you never included that in your prospectus, or your insurance does not include that claim, despite having my house & several other properties insured. My car insurance went up so much I had to find another company. They are recommended by Which, but what annoys me is that no-one ever reviews how good these companies are when a claim is made, its only how polit... Reviewed on: 28th April 2023
