Onecallinsurance, Too all the people out there please do not go with this insurance company as I have had the worst experience with them, I bought home insurance with this company & I had a problem with something in my property, So tried to open a case tried calling them & no answer tried live chat also no answer, Then decided to cancel my policy so still no answer then cancelled my direct debit then I get a letter to pay cancellation charge of £76.57p, So happy I have cancelled this policy & I don’t understand how this company can get 5 star rating. They took £50 off when I cancelled after waiting 3.5 hours for a chat - no telephone contact available. £400 for renewal but when documents came through (email) dates were wrong so hence I needed contact - so p'd off after long wait I told them just to cancel - coincidence or what the chat timed out - within 2 minutes I received an email telling me in capital letters that "YOUR POLICY HAS NOT BEEN CANCELLED". Went back on chat & got connected an hour later and managed to cancel. Are now in process of enquiry as to how they justify £50 cancellation/admin fee Reviewed on: 6th January 2024

Don't take my word for it - reads Trust Pilot reviews score of 1.3 84% dissatisfaction. Fined hundred of thousand sof pounds by FCA in 2018. Impossible to contact even through suggested methods. Auto-renewal and money taken from accounts even after policies ended. Reviewed on: 30th December 2023

Absolutely disgusting company, house insurance rising from £28 per month to £81 , didn't see the renewal email, see the first payment and tried to cancel but refused without a massive fee. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !! Reviewed on: 30th December 2023

Avoid! Avoid!!! I took out insurance with this company. As part of my insurance, I am entitled to a courtesy car if my car can't be driven after a (non fault) accident. They collected my car 2 days ago and still haven't provided any replacement vehicle. They are now saying that they first need to assess the car before they can provide a replacement vehicle but can't say when they are going to do that and seem to be working on an open ended timescale. They also say that it is not them that provide the courtesy car but rather the repair centre THEY choose. I have explained to them that I could have gotten the AA to recover my car under my membership and got a repair centre of MY choice along with a courtesy car within a couple of hours. And they are now telling me that if I want my car back to deal with the repair myself, I will need to pay transport and storage costs! I have no idea where my car is, they had it taken away before I had finished on the phone with them to initiate the claim. All communication is via an internet chat room/ portal. They don't have a telephone number or anyone you can talk to. I don't have a clue what is happening with my car. I have submitted an official complaint via their official complaints procedure and been told someone should contact me within 3 days! I have now had to go and rent a car for my family. Please, please, please, do yourself a favour and avoid this company! I'm going to citizens advice and trading standards in the morning. , unfortunately, There was no option on this site to give less than 1 star! Reviewed on: 19th December 2023

do not go to this company if you do not want to have to deal with a chat bot. I have tried to cancel my policy and spent about 3 hours being kept in a queue to a chat bot who having been told 5 times that I wanted to cancel my policy just kept trying to ask how much I have paid going to a new provider and making all sorts of silly suggestions. Then they cut me off and sent an email saying that as the call had terminated I had not cancelled the policy - ridiculous system with no one that you can actually speak to Reviewed on: 15th December 2023

Avoid at all cost

So bad can not talk to anyone and the live chat portal starts off at position 50 something and when it gets down to the low teens it freezes and guess how you can complain you guessed it the portal. Worst company I have ever had the misfortune to use. Reviewed on: 11th December 2023

Poor company has they don't want to talk to u to sort out any problems just take your money..cancellation fee is higher than the policy is worth ..could not speak to anyone just a live chat text message which just goes around in circles maddening...so won't be insuring with them again Poor Poor..very poor Reviewed on: 8th December 2023

The customer service is terrible. You cannot speak to anyone. I am six days post non fault accident and nothing is progressing. Have spent hours getting to get through. They refused to put me through to my insurance company. Cut me off and didn't ring back. The worst company I've ever dealt with. Would never ever use them again. you will never speak to anyone, fact, live chat only, extortionate cancelation charge placed on my daughters insurance, wanted to cancel after 5 months and was hit with a charge of over 60 % of the premium, no choice but to pay , should be 2 to 7% , not 60 . horrendous . read all the one star reviews all over the web, its for a reason !!!!
