No Refund Given on 6 months of Remaining Motor Policy

I cancelled my motor insurance and they offered no refund on 6 months of remaining policy cover which is scandalous. They are clearly jsut another... I cancelled my motor insurance and they offered no refund on 6 months of remaining policy cover which is scandalous. They are clearly jsut another rip-off, scamming insurance company. They are also no longer keen to speak to you on the phone and direct you to 'chat'. Clearly that is cheaper to run as you need fewer employess for that. Read more Read less

One Call Insurance is an insurance broker based in Doncaster.

Founded in 1995, they started out helping customers in South Yorkshire before expanding their services out UK-wide.

One Call Insurance help personal and commercial customers with a full range of policies. The personal insurance policies they provide include car, home, pet, travel and motorbike insurance as well as breakdown cover. Commercial customer policies include business insurance, vehicle, property and tradesman insurance.

I just cancelled a car insurance policy that had 5 months remaining. No refund was offered. The person on 'chat' wrote 'there will be no... I just cancelled a car insurance policy that had 5 months remaining. No refund was offered. The person on 'chat' wrote 'there will be no remaining balance nor refund and includes a cancellation fee of £50.15. A full breakdown of the cancellation will be sent to your customer portal if you decide to go ahead with the cancellation, please be aware if no letter is uploaded this means the cancellation has not been completed.' I keep looking in my customer portal but no breakdown has appeared, and no letter has been uploaded. Where does this leave me, I wonder! I won't be returning to One Call Insurance - ever!
