Reliable and good prices

Been with them for about 4 yrs now. One year they gave a guarantee for no increase the following year. Other years only moderate increases. Easy to deal with. Reviewed on: 14th July 2023

Hassle free at a competitive price

Excellent cover including free Home Emergency and Home Legal - yet many other insurers were more expensive without the addition of these essential extras. Easy to apply and done within minutes, would highly recommend and I've chosen Policy Expert several times in the past. Reviewed on: 14th July 2023

Cheap rubbish insurance who dont care whatsover

Disgusting company

Unless you make a claim, they are a perfect company. As soon as you do, their rule book of exclusions will open up. I made a claim about toilet leakage under home emergency cover. Am told something cannot be repaired is not covered. Every time their story changes. Disgusting customer service ! Never ever ! I will pay a bit more but have a piece of mind by switching to someone else. I am their loyal customer of 3 years without a single claim. They have given no right of appeal and have left with leaked toilet. Reviewed on: 16th June 2023

Good value for money but need to keep an eye on the auto renewal

I've had no trouble with policy expert, granted I've not needed to make any claims, however their website is really not very helpful (no way to change your banking details, etc) and you need to call up to make any changes to your policy. You really need to keep on track with your emails so you do not miss the auto renewal reminder! Reviewed on: 1st June 2023

DO NOT PAY OUT

We’be had a nightmare with policy expert / trinity claims. LIARS, tried to tel lus that they’re a broken and not a home insurance policy themselves. They will pass you from pillar to post if they “claims specialist” they have on their books. DO NOT USE! Reviewed on: 14th April 2023

Avoid at all cost

Dreadful they will try and get out of paying out for a claim. Very poor customer service which actually lie about contacting you. If you want to call make at least 45 mins just to get through. Very poor. Save yourself money time and effort. Avoid. Reviewed on: 12th April 2023

TERRIBLE IF NEED TO CLAIM

stay away from this company!!! Had a roof leak (puddle in the loft and leaking into my bedroom). Been told it will be 7-10 days before I even get a call about this (not a visit, a PHONE CALL in order to book a visit). Every time it rains it gets worse, storms forcast for the next week and I’ve told them this but they do not care that it is becoming worse. I had a roofer come and check it and they said it is an urgent job and needs to be fixed within the week (which they can do but not without insurance claim going through). It will be 4+ weeks before it is fixed, meanwhile my beams are getting wetter and wetter and more puddles are forming in the loft dripping onto me at night. Terrible for making a claim. Will not be going with them again for insurance. AVOID. Will delete bad review if my some miracle they actually do their job. Reviewed on: 27th March 2023
